You’re barking up the wrong tree.
The difference between my opinion and Khosla’s opinion is that mine doesn’t recommend diminishing the value of one study in favor of the one that I happen to like more. Humanities has had an outsized impact on my life and I think you’ve picked up on how important it is to me. But you don’t see me arguing that STEM is less important and less relevant because I happen to benefit a lot from reading literature.
